America’s Tomorrow

Something’s gotta give? Right?

Our spiral into madness is not new, nor is it complete. Eventually we will spiral into darkness, that’s just the realistic trajectory we’re on. White liberals are against radically defunding the police but also are radically opposed to the notion that the issue is one of economic disparity.

The reality is, the fact(not my opinion) is that we’re in a situation that is not far dissimilar from the issue of Hollywood. Where for years and years in Hollywood, predators terrorized women, men, and children. These predators were well known but untouched, unblemished and likely still are. They were allowed to carry on past the point of society aggressively rejecting them.

Now, what was the response to these predators? People radically began the #MeToo era. Me Too left no room for predators, they ended their careers and left them without platforms. Some people including celebrities begged mercy and leniency. However, the lack of it was needed. You allowed predators to radically terrorize and radically abuse their platforms. The only adequate response to deter and keep deterred these abuses of power was radical in nature.

Thusly, politicians have radically done nothing to help the common American. They’ve used Citizen’s United and other means to radically prey on the American person. They’ve radically done nothing as Flint, Michigan still does not have clean water in 2021 and radically nothing as Black bodies are lynched. Democrats, Republicans have been radical in their lack of action. So do we then radically change the nature of police and defund them so as to put more money into communities in need and nurture them to raise new ideas and opportunities for a future we want? Biden who will be president has bluntly stated he would not. White Liberals say discussing class disparity is not the issue, that it’s purely White supremacy, which is a simplified take on an issue harming BIPOC.

Why is that? Well when White America returns to business as usual, that segment of poor, White America will still be poor and Republicans will continue to grab their souls and whisper about the great evil Brown and Black people. And they’ll point to Democrats and say see, they’re eating up power and getting richer while ignoring you. And we as BIPOC will sit here getting just as poor, wondering where they action is for a party that uses being the people’s party to line their pockets.

White supremacy will be emboldened because white liberals are convinced that they simply have to say Black Lives Matter and that it’s all white peoples’ fault we’re in this. That self-flagellation is great for their moral comfort and feelings of “we’re not those whites at least”, but it helps only White liberals not BIPOC. It doesn’t set them apart neither, it just shows they prefer inequalities and delusions of change than actual change. That they prefer a vote for Biden to maintain their state than actual change for non-White America.

Something has got to give in these next four years. White America has to stop looking at each other and start looking at those without a voice to give them one. It comes by way of building up the poor of this country. Going to White towns without jobs and empty factories, because BIPOC cannot go there and it is not our job to. That is bravery, that is change. Speaking to those who may be on the wrong side of history and understanding they may boldly disagree. However, white politicians have got to begin to speak to those who are falling prey for white supremacy. They have got to radically change how we police. We have got to, with a fervor, do all we can to provide Black America humanization. That will always come first and will always be worth fighting for no matter the cost. Doing so goes beyond platitudes. It involves doing things differently than we ever have. Capitalism is a huge handicap and it will not be easy, it may even at this juncture be impossible. However, the future is one that could very well be a hellscape. We’re heading towards something we’re not prepared to deal with. The future isn’t 4 years, it’s in the horizon however and time sure does fly.
